The main building of La Guarderia where I usually work. It is truly an oasis in the middle of the poverty that surrounds it.
Another shot of La Guaderia and its beautifully tended grounds. The people that volunteer with Camino Seguro do a little of everything here---education reinforcement, material making, bathing children, assisting in the medical clinic, assisting in the kitchen (one of the volunteer women had to help prepare 260 chickens for meals for the upcoming week---they were donated LIVE!) and grounds maintainance. One big hard working family.
